Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter for Nikon F Features:
Created for Global Vision Lenses
The Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter is designed for use with Nikon F-mount lenses in the Global Vision series and is compatible even with lenses of large diameter. The rich peripheral brightness of the converter enables shooting quality images at every focal length. It maintains signal integrity between the camera body and lens to support autofocus operations up to f/8.
Amplifies Focal Length of Lens by 1.4x
When used with compatible lenses, the teleconverter multiplies the focal length of your lens by 1.4 times with only 1-stop loss in exposure. This means the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 becomes a 210-840mm F6.3-9 zoom lens. The increase in the focal length of the lens gives you extended telephoto capabilities so you can take photos with greater magnification from the same camera position.
High Quality Optics
With seven elements in five groups including an SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element, the teleconverter minimises chromatic aberrations to deliver an outstanding image quality, comparable to the original lens.
Splash and Dust Proof Construction
The teleconverter features a durable build with splash and dust resistant design suitable for rugged use in inclement weather conditions, making it a perfect to meet the demanding needs of professional wildlife and sports photographers. Its metal bayonet mount provide strength for securely holding heavy lenses, and ensure durability even with repeated mountings and detachments.
Soft Case for Protection
An included zippered carrying case provides protection to the TC-1401 Sigma Teleconverter during transportation and storage.
Note: Lens firmware may need to be updated for full functionality.
